Stand-up Vie II - From the Sagrada Família to the Acropolis

Stand-up Vie. Behind this little-known expression lies the daily life of thousands of people who are passionate about humor in a new way.
Since its emergence in the early 20th century, stand-up has been slowly but surely making its way into our everyday lives. Whatever the culture, this art form seduces every audience it encounters with disconcerting speed and ease.
But how and why does the genre appeal so much? At a time where stand-up is taking over more and more venues, how is it perceived and how can we measure its evolution today? To answer these questions, there's no better way than to find out for yourself.
By performing in foreign countries and meeting with stand-up artists from all over Europe, Sin, a young French comedian, offers a personal and multicultural introspection of this art form, which is booming in our society.

You've just read my DVD cover, if I would have made one.

In February 2024, I've released my second documentary film: Stand-up Vie II - From the Sagrada Família to the Acropolis.

This is the direct sequel to the first of this series.

But it's also 11 000 km, 4 stand-up evenings in French and English, 7 months, 5 interviews, 5 countries, and 3 different European cultures.

Feedback from the first viewers has been positive, and I'm proud to have been able to present a quality film shot on the iPhone XS, and to have brought emotion to dozens of people.

Today, I'm thinking about the best way to present my work to as many people as possible under the right conditions. Making a film is one thing. Distributing it is quite another.

Hoping to give you some news soon.

(The only certainty I have is that I don't plan to make a DVD).
